Are the prices at BeautyKind higher to include the 5% donation?

No, like other beauty retailers, BeautyKind sells products at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. 

What if I have a BeautyKind gift card?

All BeautyKind gift cards from previous promotions will be honored through 5/20/2018.


Forgotten Password

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset your password on the login page. Just click the Forgot Your Password? link, type your email address associated with you BeautyKind account and click submit. A link will be sent to your email.  Just follow the instructions and you'll be back shopping in no time. Don't forget to check your junk/spam folder if you don't see the email within a few minutes.

Updating your password, name, and email address

You can update your password, name, and email address by going to the General Settings page in My Account. Update your information, and click the Update button to save the changes. Click cancel to discard any edits you don’t want to save.

How do I unsubscribe from BeautyKind emails?

Although we’d hate to see you go, you can unsubscribe from BeautyKind emails at any time by clicking on the Unsubscribe link in the footer of our emails.

How does my cause receive my 5%?

We’re glad you asked!  BeautyKind created the BeautyKind Foundation in order to work with charities at the national, regional, and local level. When you purchase any Product at BeautyKind, 5% of your Product Purchase Price is given by BeautyKind to the beautykind Foundation (the “Foundation”). The BeautyKind Foundation is a private foundation, recognized as an organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, EIN 47-1864930.  The Foundation then grants those amounts (the “Grant”) to nonprofit, charitable organizations that are exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) and are public charities (“Charity” or “Charities”).  You have the opportunity to choose a Charity to receive the Grant from any of the Charities listed on this website to the extent that Charity continues to maintain its status as an organization recognized as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code and satisfies other criteria required by the Foundation (“Your Chosen Charity”).  "Product Purchase Price" means the sale price, excluding shipping, handling, gift-wrapping fees, taxes, and service charges, less any promotions, and returns. "Product" includes [any products for sale at BeautyKind other than gift cards.]


Some of our promotional offers are charity-specific, in which case the 5% give back amount will be directed to the Charity associated with that particular offer rather than Your Chosen Charity, but only for that particular promotional offer.   We will clearly identify to you those charity-specific promotions.  For all other purchases, Your Chosen Charity will still remain your selected cause, and the BeautyKind Foundation will direct 5% of the Product Purchase Price to Your Chosen Charity.  

Can I change the cause I support?

Yes!  You can change the Charity you want to support anytime by selecting a new Charity in your cart at checkout.

How do I get samples?

Everyone loves samples! We offer samples during promotional times so you can try some new things, fall in love with some of our faves, or get reacquainted with an oldie but goodie.


Placing an order

Yes!  You can change the Charity you want to support anytime by selecting a new Charity in your cart at checkout.

What should I expect after I've completed my order?

Once your order has been successfully submitted, you will be directed to a Thank You page with your order number. You will receive an email Order Confirmation within hours of placing your order, which will also include your order number. We encourage you to save or print the Thank You page and Order Confirmation email for your records.

Do you charge Sales Tax?

Orders shipped to addresses in California, Kentucky, Michigan and Texas are subject to state sales tax per IRS rules and regulations.


Credit Cards

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.

When your credit card is authorized, funds are put on hold until the transaction is completed. When the order is shipped, the payment is processed. Your billing information must be exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. If any numbers are different, the order cannot be processed. Be sure to correctly spell city names and avoid using abbreviations (unless that is how it appears on your statement). Contact your financial institution if you need the exact billing address associated with your credit card.

For your security, BeautyKind requires you to enter your 3- or 4-digit card identification number (CID/CVN/CVV/CVC) on all orders for Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover transactions.

Debit Cards

The amount of your order is held on your debit card and the debit card owner does not have access to these funds until the hold is taken off. Holds usually last 3 - 5 business days and may vary depending on your financial institution. Call your financial institution for more details.

Why was my credit card declined?

If a debit card or check card is used to make a purchase at BeautyKind and the purchase is not accepted for any reason, please be aware that most banks will continue to hold the 'authorized' funds (counting against the account balance until the authorization clears) even if the order is not accepted by BeautyKind security measures. The most common reason for a failed transaction is that the billing address entered does not match the billing address for the debit/check/credit card being used for payment. BeautyKind does not have the capability nor is it obligated to release the bank's temporary hold of authorized funds. Since BeautyKind does not have the capability to release the bank's temporary hold of funds, BeautyKind cannot be held responsible for the policies of the customer's banking institution regarding the holding of authorized funds. Please note that authorization fund holds last for varying periods, depending on the issuing credit card company's policy. This period may last as little as three days or as long as several months. If such a situation arises, we suggest that the customer contact the issuing credit card company or bank directly.


Shipping Cost and Time

Orders placed by 12PM ET will begin processing that same day. Processing time usually takes one business day. Delivery times are based on orders placed between Monday – Friday. BeautyKind offers FREE STANDARD SHIPPING on all U.S. merchandise orders $50 and over (excluding taxes). For shipments totaling less than $50, there is a delivery charge of $5.95 for Standard shipping. Please see our Shipping Information page for more info.

Flammable Items

Certain items considered highly flammable, including aerosols and alcohol-based products (e.g., pressurized spray cans, hair spray, nail polish, nail polish remover, etc.), are subject to air transport restrictions and regulations and are required by the U.S. Department of Transportation to be shipped by ground-only transport.

Tracking Orders

When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment notification email. The majority of our orders are shipped within 1-2 business days after the order has been placed. The email will contain shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to track your package on carrier’s site.

I am having trouble entering my shipping address.

Does BeautyKind ship internationally?

Unfortunately, BeautyKind does not ship internationally at this time.

Does BeautyKind ship to military addresses?

All shipments to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses are sent via USPS Priority. Due to military handling time, delivery to some destinations may take up to 21 days.

Does BeautyKind ship to PO boxes?

Yes! However, standard shipping is the only shipping method available for shipments PO Boxes.

Does BeautyKind Ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico?

Yes! We, however, can not ship orders containing Hazardous Materials to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, PO Boxes or APO/ FPO addresses.


Returns & Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied with your BeautyKind purchase for any reason, it may be returned. All returns must be accompanied by the receipt and all original components.
